Fixed
No moving parts, no air leakage, the lowest U-value in the range. Specified alongside operable units, not instead of them.
03 / Door
Lift-and-slide
Panels up to three metres that lift clear of the track, glide with one hand, and drop onto a full perimeter seal. The opening a patio slider only pretends to be.
04 / Door
Entry systems
Multi-point locking, thermally broken threshold, thick insulated leaf. The one door in the house that has to be airtight and unbreakable at the same time.

What is a tilt-and-turn window?
A tilt-and-turn window has one handle and two functions. Turn it ninety degrees and the sash tilts inward at the top for secure ventilation. Turn it a hundred and eighty and the whole sash swings inward like a door, for cleaning and egress. It is the standard operable window across Germany, Austria and Scandinavia, and it seals against compression gaskets rather than a friction hinge, which is why it outperforms a casement on air infiltration.
How much do Rühle windows cost?
There is no price list. Every unit is fabricated to a measured opening, and a small transom and a full-height wall unit are the same product at very different numbers — so any per-window figure quoted before someone has measured is a guess. We quote from measured openings, and we will tell you on the phone beforehand whether we are the right company for the job.
How long does delivery take?
Six to eight weeks from signed order. We hold our own inventory of profile and hardware, fabricate to your measurements, and schedule the install ourselves — so the date we give you is a date we control.
Do you install, or only supply?
We install. Backer rod, self-adhering flashing membrane, exterior capping, interior trim, and a final adjustment on every sash. The warranty is ours, and the phone number in year seven is ours.
